Mandee Adler is the Founder and Principal of International College Counselors, LLC.  She is a graduate of Miami Beach Senior High, and the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with Honors and two degrees- one from the Wharton School and one from the College of Arts and Sciences.  She also received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was selected as a Class Day Speaker.  Additionally, she received a one year fellowship from Rotary International and studied at ICADE, a premier business school located in Madrid, Spain.

Ms. Adler currently serves on the Executive Board of the Penn Fund of the University of Pennsylvania, and for 13 years has worked as an alumni interviewer for the school.  Additionally, she has spent six years as her Class Fund Chair for the Harvard Business School.  She has personally visited over 150 colleges and universities, and has an extensive rolodex of contacts of college admissions representatives, something she cultivates regularly.   

Ms. Adler is currently completing a book called “From Public School to the Ivy League: How to get into a top school without top dollar resources.”

Prior to starting International College Counselors, LLC, Ms. Adler worked as an investment banker for Goldman, Sachs & Co in New York.  She later was the co-founder of HerDollar, Inc, which she sold to Siebert Financial Corp (NASDAQ: SIEB) in October of 2000, and served as EVP and COO of Women’s Financial Network at Siebert, a fully operational national discount brokerage focused on women.   Upon moving to a new city, Ms. Adler founded International College Counselors, which provides independent college and graduate school counseling for students in the United States, Europe and South America.

Barry N. Liebowitz is a Principal of International College Counselors, LLC. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in English with minors in History and Journalism from the State University of New York @ Stony Brook.

Prior to his work with International College Counselors, Mr. Liebowitz spent seven years as the Membership / Registration Director for Asphalt Green, an innovative New York based not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals of all ages and backgrounds pursue sports and fitness as a life-long activity. Additionally he has served as the Hospitality Director at Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino located in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

As a former high school and college student-athlete who played baseball and basketball, Mr. Liebowitz enjoys working with students as they strive to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
 

Monica Goldstein Avinami is the International Student Specialist for International College Counselors, LLC.  She is a native of Bogota Colombia, and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to her work with International College Counselors, Ms. Avinami worked as a Marketing Director for Flora Intercontinental, a fresh cut flower grower and exporter based in Colombia.  Upon moving to Miami in 1997, Ms. Avinami worked for GrupoUno as a publicist for high technology companies such as Hewlett-Packard, PictureTel, Imation and PeopleSoft in Latin America.  Latter on, she became the Marketing Director for the Americas at Bellota, a world wide Hardware Tools Manufacturer and Distributor.  Additionally, she has served as an internet marketing consultant for business based in South Florida, as well as a marketing consultant for the hotel industry in Colombia.
